Nuka cola Quantum!

So for props class we had to make something with a "special effect" so what better to make than something from my favorite video game world! i present to you my Nuka Cola Quantum!

Started working on the guns for Emily's Miss fortune costume i love eva foam

I need to get started on Jenna's bow but i would like to wait till i get a bit more of a working knowledge of polycarbonate welding but i am really looking forward to that project! I have a lot of projects coming up in the near future that i am super excited for and i really hope that i can do them well to prove to myself that i can!

Work work

So put together my list of things i have to get done and it's pretty big! I'm looking forward to getting to work on some of these projects. Progress pics will be posted once i start (in the next week or two)

Hoping to get some of these done by colossal con!

So got a bunch of EVA foam tonight in prep for working on Noah's Emumu head and Jonas's .... whole frigin costume lol. Not really sure how we are doing this one right now or how the scale is going to be. Should be interesting to try to get these hand pieces done!

Okay giving this thing another shot!

So i am starting to work on a few drawings for some costumes for my roommates Noah and Jonas. For possibly colossal con (we hope) they will be going as Emumu and Veigar from the game League of Legends. I myself will hopfully be able to knock out an Udyr costume but like most cons i doubt i will be able to get my own costume done in time =P Hopefully this time around i will post up some progress pics of the costumes so look forward to that in the upcoming weeks >.> that is if classes and hamlet doesn't kill me!

Tron jacket

So as a lot of my friends know ... i really like the movie tron and am pretty excited for the new movie coming out. As a final project in my current costuming class we have to make something ( now this is an intro class so they don't expect anything super amazing) so what better to make than a tron jacket because this not only nets me an A+ in the class but gives me a badass jacket to play with and EL wire exp!

I toyed around with some sketches today but nothing is set in stone yet as i need to do a bit more research on the design and material i want to make the jacket from. Will be posting progress pics as i get this project underway!
